Name
Culture is Behavior: Positively Impacting Student and Staff Behavior in a Way That Sticks
Date & Time
Friday, September 27, 2019, 9:45 AM - 11:00 AM
Description
In the past 20 years, research has taught us a lot about behavior and brain science. The skills of behavior should be looked at the same way we look at academics. Students (and staff!) need to be taught strong relationship and character-skills to be successful in school and in life. This session will provide practical tools to motivate students including a 40-week set of staff character challenges, our signature S.E.R.V.E Model to focus on relationships and behavior, and hands-on activities that impact student engagement. In this resource-PACKED session, learn how you can get students AND staff to develop more positive habits, systematically build character and SEL skills, and change school culture for the better.
